We read "If kids ran the world" by Leo and Diane Dillon

After reading the book I asked the class How they would run the world?

Margot:"Not throw trash in the ocean.  

Abby: "I would protect animals."

Roshni:" Help the Earth by planting big trees."

Evelyn: "Plant flowers."

Lily:"Help the Earth. Planting flowers for the bees."

Wes:"Build!  A house for lots of people."

Corin: "I would not kill bugs.  I don't like to kill the bugs."

Layla:"They're change makers."

Daisy:"I like spiders because they kill mosquitoes."

Ellery: "I like bugs."

Sounds as though the Earth is good hands.
